Club Affiliation

Club Reaffilations

  1. The reaffiliation process for USPSA and Steel Challenge Affiliated Clubs begins on December 1; you will visit USPSA.org and select Club Resources, then select Reaffiliate. The designated club contact or match director has to be logged in to the website in order to access the Club Reaffiliation link to start the reaffiliation process (https://uspsa.org/reaffiliate). If your USPSA club is also affiliated with Steel Challenge, you will also be able to do the reaffiliation for your SCSA club online. Please make sure to complete the process for your USPSA club first so you will not be charged for the SCSA club.
  2. To qualify for reaffiliation clubs must have been in accordance with the USPSA bylaws
  3. To qualify for USPSA clubs must have:
    1. held a minimum of seven events in the calendar year
    2. four of the events must have had a classifier
    3. affiliated clubs have an obligation per the bylaws to submit all results for all participants, including non‐members, to USPSA within 30 days. This submission can be done electronically; activity fees can be submitted electronically or paid by check within 30 days to the USPSA office.
  4. To qualify for reaffiliation SCSA clubs must have:
    1. held a minimum of three events in the calendar year
    2. two of the events must have had an official stage
    3. affiliated clubs have an obligation per the bylaws to submit all results for all participants, including non‐members, to USPSA within 30 days. This submission can be done electronically; activity fees can be submitted electronically or paid by check within 30 days to the USPSA office.
  5. If your club was not able to meet the requirement, per the bylaws, you will be able to request an exemption in the provided field on the website. Please include all details, including a link to your  Practiscore results, and the information will be reviewed for consideration. A copy of the request will be sent to your Section Coordinator to authorize your request for exemption. Please ensure that all matches that were held have been submitted and paid for before requesting an exemption. 
  6. A club may apply in writing to change sections or become independent through their Area Director. The club should have prior written approval of both section coordinators in question, or be able to justify this request in writing with verifiable facts.
  7. All affiliated and reaffiliated clubs need to provide USPSA with the name of their official USPSA representative or club contact, together with an address, telephone number and email address which can be disseminated to the members or other interested persons via the USPSA web page. If any addresses, phone numbers, etc. are not to be given out, arrangements must be made with USPSA headquarters in writing at the time of affiliation or reaffiliation, in which case other information is requested, such as a post office box instead of street address.
  8. All official club contacts/representatives must be current USPSA members.
